Should I go Solar myself before talking to my clients?

Not required, but a fantastic idea! If you own a home, going solar will allow you to enjoy the same benefits your clients would. Savings, Tax Credit, Security etc. Plus, what better way to learn what your clients will experience than by experiencing it yourself. After joining, get a free analysis of your home and power bill. If you decide to move forward you can earn a commission on going solar yourself, or simply enjoy a stellar deal!

How soon do I get my commission after my clients decide to go solar?

Once your client's solar system is installed and turned on, we receive funding. The following Friday, you'll receive 50% of the commission! On average it takes about 30 days from the point of sale to have the system permitted and installed.

Can I earn if I share SolarLink with other professionals?

Absolutely! If you find value in our partnership and introduce us to other professionals like yourself, we will pay you a small override on every deal they send us into perpetuity. No cap, no cutoff, no time limit. Just a simple override contributing to your passive income.

How much should I know about solar when speaking to potential clients?

Could I be in violation of RESPA by earning a commission when a client switches to solar?

No, you wouldn't be violating RESPA because Solar is not a real estate transaction. If a roofer or pool guy gave you a commission for referring a client you wouldn't be in violation. Solar is no different! Since going solar doesn't involve a change of property title or a lien on the property, RESPA regulations do not apply. RESPA protects homeowners from indirect paying “kickbacks” related to real estate transactions, which doesn't align with the act of transitioning to solar power in a home.

If one of my clients refers another client, will I really get paid?

Absolutely! We have you to thank for the relationship so we want you to participate in the upside! Plus we know when we take such good care of your clients that they refer us to others AND you get paid, it will only mean more referrals from you :)
